FAQ

What should I wear for the class?

Normal aerobics or gym kit is fine, or anything that you can move freely in. Tracksuit bottoms and loose tops are best plus trainers.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring a bottle of water, a small hand towel and yourself. If it’s chilly, bring a jumper or top to warm up and cool down in. Leave any jewellery at home where possible.

Can anyone attend the classes?

Yes, these classes are designed for all abilities and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace and push themselves to their own level. The classes are for adults and anyone over the age of 18 is welcome.

What if I have never exercised before or am getting back into exercise?

It is always best to consult your GP if you are beginning a fitness programme for the first time or getting back into exercise after pregnancy or injury. You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire when you attend your first class which can be downloaded below and brought to the class or completed on the day.

What should I eat before the class?

You are advised not to exercise on a full stomach and so should have a light meal or snack approx 2 hours before exercising. It is also important not to exercise on an empty stomach as they body needs fuel to help you work to your full potential.
